Amrita TV

 Amrita TV, launched in 2005, as a 24-hour Malayalam, general entertainment & news satellite channel with a global footprint, has been honoured with 26 State Awards for Excellence in Television—the only channel in India to be bestowed with such a recognition in just two years since inception. Amrita TV has been in the forefront in delivering programmes which are endearing, enriching and entertaining.
In a very short span, Amrita TV has pioneered tasteful and pathbreaking television content. Be it reality shows that nurture talent and foster shared values; or programmes that showcase and preserve India's culture and ethos; or news features and infotainment that highlight real life challenges and celebrate the human spirit.
The theme song, Lokasamastha was composed by Rahulraj. It was composed in 2003, for Mata Amritananda Mai Math's 50th birthday celebrated, and later taken as the theme of Amrita Tv.
